Following in MLK’s footsteps
Anaya Montgomery’s banner seemed to sum up Kings’s Kamp perfectly.
The 8-year-old’s banner, which she made at King’s Kamp, held at YWCA Carlisle Monday to teach children about Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., had the words “peace,” “justice” and “be free” colorfully written on it.
Anaya, an third-grader at Bellaire Elementary School, also glued a letter “M” to the banner in honor of King, who would have turned 82 last Saturday.
