Arthritis Foundation'sTai Chi
$50 YW Member; $60 Non-member
Learn a modified Sun style tai chi form that involves a series of slow fluid movemetns. Sun style encourages mind and body synergy to gently stretch and free still joints, enhance mobility and diminish pain.
Restorative Yoga - Daytime class
$10 for the first series of 6 classes; thereafter $10/class or $50 for 6 week session
Research suggests that the gentle poses, mindful breathing, and guided meditation included in a yoga practice may ease the symptoms associated with chronic diseases and cancer, as well as support your natural healing system. Come out and de-stress with us! This one hour beginners’ yoga class is designed to improve your attitude and re-energize your body. You will learn simple stretches to improve balance and muscle tone.
