Programs
YWCA Carlisle and Cumberland County’s programs offer a wide range of activities focusing on wellness and community.
Many of our programs focus on women and girls, but we support all members of the community in need, regardless of gender or gender identity. Many of our programs are for all ages and all genders.
Second Season caters to the needs of seniors. They meet monthly to discuss a variety of topics.
Some Topics Include:
Speranza Animal Rescue
Hope Station
Funeral Fraud and Bereavement Scams
PA Treasury Lost Money
Carlisle Seratoma Club
Medicare
Second Season offers a space for ladies to connect, learn, and laugh with new friends. This free group is open to all women 65 and up looking to broaden their network of friends.

Qi-Gong is open to everyone and meets weekly on Thursdays
Qi Gong is an ancient Chinese practice combining slow, gentle movements, deep breathing, and meditation to cultivate and balance the body’s vital life energy, or “qi,” for health, spirituality, and martial arts. It involves coordinated postures, breathwork, and focused intention, promoting harmony between mind, body, and spirit, with roots in traditional Chinese medicine. Qi Gong is for all ages and genders.
