Why should you Walk the Mile?
Walk The Mile demonstrates the strength of our community in standing against violence and sexual assault. The support we contribute will help survivors across our county.
When we envision a world without violence, we begin to build a path to creating that world. Help us raise awareness about violence, support survivors, and envision a world without violence!

Walk the Mile: Because HERstory Counts will take place at Veterans’ Square in Downtown Carlisle, providing a beautiful and accessible space for our community to come together in support of survivors. The event will kick off at 5 pm in the square, where participants can register, pick up their event materials, and connect with fellow supporters. The one-mile route is designed to be inclusive and welcoming, suitable for all ages and abilities. Along the way, we’ll have water stations and signs to guide the walk, as well as volunteers available to assist with any needs.
